This damn weather. I renewed insurance on my Metropolitan last year on March 3.
I didn't renew it until March 26 this year and I've only been on it four times since.
It was warmer last spring than this spring, and it pisses me off.

On the bookstore note: Quincy needs a Hastings.
Over in Kirksville is a combination of Blockbuster, Staples, Barnes & Noble, Sam Goody, Starbucks, and used CD shop all under one roof.
It's a franchise too. About the size of Best Buy. Next time someone in Kirksville they should stop by.
All these "canopy of trees" signs but none on the Northwest corner of 9th and Van Buren to replace the good trees that were removed there.

Hey, look, everyone needs to get off their asses and do something about the gas proices. At least go to W. Quincy, and patronize those who sell it for lees, that'll get the jerks around hear to lower it, maybe, Christ, I don't know, do something, we are getting hosed collectively, and until we do all do something together, it will continue. Oil Co's made over 20 BILLION in profits last year.
I called Durbin's office in Washington, and said basically that things suck back here, as they do everywhere, and asked for him to consider taking away the gas tax for a while, and to put the check on Big oil......

Driving to W. Quincy won't hurt the jerks on this side of the river because they own the ones over there too. The only difference is MO has a lower gas tax.
Getting rid of the gas tax won't hurt them either. You'll just drive move and they'll make more money. Then you'll start bitchin about the roads being in worse shape than they already are now. That's because there won't be any $ from the gas tax to pay to fix them.

Shit will happen , but life tosses curve balls and no matter what , good people do the right thing.
Is that the whhole thing, that some dude played his stereo too loud? Why is there a trial on something like that? What's the deal with that, wouldn't that be wasting tax payer's money? Or is Tookie not paying the fine, because of whoever complained? What's the whole story here? I'm nosey! :)
