Dickerson! Suck it!
He'll be back on the board before you know it. After all there is one seat for the current board to give away.
If those on the board are thinking of appointing TD they should consider if they plan to run again for their seats. The same people from yesterday will be there two years from now and give them the same "TD 2011 push out the door".
Sorry dudes, but NOBODY cast a vote on "Get Tom Dickerson off the Board". No one. It wasn't on the ballot.
61 fewer people voted for Dickerson than voted for Stone. That's the only number that counts.
So Tom lost the election by a mere 61 votes. That is hardly a raving majority of voters wanting to see him gone.
That said, it would have been better if he'd taken his lumps and walked away. It's not like he doesn't have a big successful company to occupy his time.
