Been a while since my kids were in school,but when school was canceled everything was canceled. Has this changed?
School district wouldn't get $400-million. Illinois would get $400-million and piss it out in dribs and drabs, but with something like 58% of it pre-assigned to Chicago "cuz they's big."
A side benefit of the recent School Board Meeting is that we have now learned that President Bud Niekamp actually lied to us when he said he had to be communicated to by email as he was unable to hear on the phone. Thank you for demonstrating to us that you can in fact communicate by phone. As you Bud are frequently belly-aching about the 'lies' perpetrated by the other members of the Board, I say, welcome to the liars club. You are credited with the most recent one and proved you were a liar to all present who heard you participate in the meeting on the phone.

I'm not a Bud Hater, but I think he is overemployed.
I'm also not a member of QCC nor ever will be.
I'm sure not going to spend a $100 on dinner either.
Nice to see his backers attack the critics rather than defend his decisions...
You have to express more your opinion to attract more readers, because just a video or plain text without any personal approach is not that valuable. But it is just form my point of view
