QPD's Black Friday is everyday -- all about the $$$$$!!!

Nailed that one Fire:

Copley said full patrols would be out Wednesday night as the night before Thanksgiving is traditionally one of the busiest bar nights of the year in Quincy.

Bitch about the police being out to keep drunks off the road, but if they don't one of those drunks could kill someone close to you.

Which way do you want it?

reasonable articulable suspicion

RAS means that a police officer or any other government representative may not force a citizen to interact with him unless he has what a reasonable person would consider to be valid suspicion that the citizen has or is about to commit a crime. "Articulable" means that the officer needs to be able to name the specific law he suspects the citizen of having committed, or about to commit.

Maybe with the bus accident today the city could start safety checks on city equipment?

Someone could have been killed in that bus accident!

Bitch about that!

The bus driver was ticketed for improper lane usage.

How you get "equipment failure" out of that I'll never know.

WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE TELL SARAH PALIN NORTH KOREA IS NOT OUR ALLY?

Jesus Fucking Christ that woman is dumb.

Anonymous said...

And Obama is President of 58 States!! who is dumber??

fds said...

Obama was being sarcastic. Look it up. Palin is still dumber than a rock.

Anonymous said...

Good lord she corrected it seconds later and had been talking about South Korea as an ally throughout the interview.
People make verbal gaffes, even newscasters. And Obama has PLenty more beyond the states error.
Saying Corpsemen at least 3 or 4 times in one speech is one of many....

Not sure if it was QPD or what, but the 18th & Bdwy, 17th & Spring area was saturated on Wed nite. Were they anywhere else, or was every officer in town in that two block area? That was crazy ridiculous. The 3 bars they focused on were so crowded, I doubt anyone could get served enough to be too drunk. So what was happening in the north end, if every cop was sitting outside of 3 bars full of college kids? Yeah, let's arrest all those college kids who are are home for the holiday. That'll teach 'em not to come back to Quincy.

corrected?

BACKTRACKED.

This just in for the Palin haters. Paul Krugman, Nobel laureate economist and New York Times colomnist has ADMITTED Obama's healthcare bill will eventually require government controlled DEATH PANELS. Not a Palin apologist, but any thinking person knew it was true, and she was ridiculed and demonized non the less. He tried to smooth it over, but he knows he has let the cat out of the bag, and the shit will hit the fan as the chickens come home to roost and the piper has his hand out. Who's the dumb rock now?

Anonymous said...

Riiiiiiigghhhht... because every other country with socialized medicine has death panels.

What next? You going to find some WSJ writer to say that the bailouts were actually intended for Toyota and Honda?

No, no one else in the field (as of yet) comes close to Sarah. Not at this point. That might change. But right now, Sarah has a powerful and persuasive message, an excellent record of endorsements and wins, and best of all, she has both the Republican establishment and the Progressives in the media and the Democrat party scared slam too death. That’s ENOUGH for me to know who the “frontrunner” IS — or ought to be.

What glhoops REALLY meant:

Yes, no one else in the field (as of yet) comes close to Sarah. Not at this point. That might change. But right now, Sarah has an ignorant and biased message, an marginal record of endorsements and wins, and best of all, she makes up words on the fly, goes to Canada for healthcare, and has two whores for daughters while the Progressives in the media and the Democrat party slam their hands on their desk from laughing hysterically at the every line of garbage spewing out of her mouth. That’s ENOUGH for me to know who the “frontrunner” ought to be - ANYONE but PALIN.

Every other country with socialized medicine does not have a border open to everyone that wants in. We treat anyone that comes to the hospital, and we pay for them. Also, take a look at the EU now. The socialist model is unsustainable.Ireland has followed Greece, and Denmark and its neighbors are close behind.Ins companies try to deny benefits every day. What will happen when the gov panels take over? They already said they will be accountants, not doctors, on the panels. Krugman said it,and it does not matter how dumb Palin is, that's the way it will be.If your kid has a disease or defect with a less than 25% chance of survival, you might as well start building their coffin. And tell mom and dad not to get sick unless they can afford their own ins. They've lived long enough.

Anonymous said...

If you knew what you were talking about, you wouldn't say Ireland is following in Greece's footsteps because they have two completely different healthcare plans.

Greece: Privatized
Ireland: Universal

Apparently you think that if they're in Europe, it's a universal health care country. Not so.

On that note, it's only a matter of time before Palin claims universal health care will be for the entire universe.

Germany, however, does have a socialized plan, and I can tell you plenty about that! My mom did not get the right treatment for a urinary tract infection because of her age - my sister in law was sent clear across the country for hip replacement surgey, when a great orthopedic hospital and rehab center are right in her town... I could go on and on! EVERYONE on socialized medicine gets put in long lines, depending on age, income, and especially how much the treatment of this illness is going to cost. Wake up! We don't need it here!
