*Got this idea form the olden days when soda used to come in 16 returnable glass bottles. Soda bottles were charged a deposit and the deposit was collected when the empty bottles were returned to the store. No one has a problem hauling the glass containers that are purchased at local food stores home, why not make it convenient to haul them back and dispose of them for recycle ??

Oh look I see typos on Tookies quincynews website. I want to see him writing a post about burning their keyboard.
What about your typos, asshat?
I don't think Tookie really owns quincynews, does he?
Check www.quincynews.org for the EXACT SAME topic Mr Fire .....
:)
We're ahead of you , just not published .
If Tookie's name is Gray he owns Quincynews. Some guy named Gray is the owner. Tookie are you Gray?
Bob Gough told my boss and my boss told me.
I'm not telling you who my boss is. He would fire my ass
I just got back from the bars and I'm buzzed.
Abraham Gray. Its not really a state secret folks. You can go to www.pir.org and look up the owner of a .org website...
Gray is probably just the person who registered the domain. The site is owned by Tookie. Along with Knapheide and other rich republicans.
The city council chose Allied Waste's bid over Finton Refuse for a few reasons.
Allied will only charge residents $10.50 a month as opposed to Finton's new fee of $11.00. It will pick up trash from city hall, the riverfront and fairgrounds for free, while Finton charged $100 a month. Allied will also pay the city $200 a month to do the billing and conduct two city-wide cleanups for free.
Even so, Warsaw residents are unhappy about the contract. It states that if diesel prices exceed $4.75, the fees are subject to change.
"People aren't going to be able to afford their bills and as it stands right now, the water bill and the garbage bill are tied together, so if they can't afford to pay both, that makes it very hard," said Callaghan.
But money isn't the only thing. The residents I spoke with told me that Warsaw is predominately made up of elderly people. Finton Refuse would help them with their garbage if they were unable to put it out. Many residents feel that Allied won't provide that luxury.

Wow Warsaw pays that little per month !!!!!!!!!
By the time we pay the DAD Degrees, fuel, pension, health insurance , landfill fees , driving it 20 miles , wear and tear , 17 supervisors , 13 assistant supers , and the Mayor
we have the be close to $100 a month .
The gov't does it better

Proof please?
And your democrat/nepocrat uncle who got you your job saying so doesn't count.
Here food for thought .
Quincy raises $600,000 in garbage stickers
Quincy has 13,000 households
$46 per house hold in garbage pick up
Warsaw is $10
I didn't do the factor of Property tax yet .
Nor did I do the wages and bennies !
Just the use tax divided by number hof households .
