I used to, key words USED TO, watch the cars go roundy-round. Then I saw an F1 race. Then I saw GT and Lemans. Now I can't name more than 3 drivers in the roundy rounders.
NASCAR needs more guys like this before I'll ever watch again.

If you have me pegged for a city worker your iptracker isn't working very well. And in an earlier post somewhere I expressed my disdain for Krieger's.

Speaking of racing, IRL (Indy Car) and Champ car are looking at merging finally, after 13 years! Should be making an announcement any day now! Check out open-wheel if you like racing, F1 is also great, all races are on speed channel.

I like to watch only the last few laps and don't really follow Nascar but I did notice one thing as the race ended.
I noticed that Ford and Chevy will both be protesting soon. I beleive I saw that Dodge went 1-2 and Toyota went 3-4, then Dodge was fifth thru eight place.
Never the less.....Some rednecks were crying in their Budweiser yesterday.
I'll take NASCAR any day over the gangbangers in the NBA. Look at the mental migets who watch that crap. Only thing close to basketball is the freaking ball. Joke!!
I stopped watching the NBA post the Jordan Era . The NBA watered down talent and expanded too many teams to cash in on the MJ effect .
I think if the NBA would follow the NFL's approach to age , we would get a far better league .

But think if these guys had been forced by NBA rules to play NCAA hoops for a min of 3 years and be a min of 21 before entering the NBA ?

I agree with your thoughts on the NBA. I gave up on it after Jordan too. I love great basketball and hate the way the game is being prostituted by both the NBA and now many of the colleges or should I say plantation owners. Most of the teams playing at the college level wouldn’t have a combined ACT score of more than nine. Just more pimping at a different level.

Minor confession here. I know enough about Nascrap to know the flagman will wave yellow flags with 4 laps to go because there's a "hamburger wrapper" or "invisible debris" on the track so it will give John Q. Racecardriver a chance to win the race, even if he's in 4th.
Find another "sport" that gets away with that... here's a couple of comparisons...
