BEARS / RAMS= ln( (1+(1+z 2) )/z ) = ????

Ya think someone over at WGEM/FOX/QNI could give the public some indication of what formula is used to which games are going to be on come Sunday ????

I was told last year that the games would alternate when both teams played at the same time.

Two weeks ago BEARS and RAMS played at the same time. FOX/WGEM carried the RAMS on TV. The local radio stations were carrying the CARDS, CUBS, and the RAMS. Closest radio station with BEARS radio was a station out of Iowa.

Last week, BEARS played on Sunday night, so that week should not count.

This week, the BEARS and RAMS both play at noon and WGEM/FOX has the Rams listed on the TV Guide at noon.....

WHAT GIVES ???

The stinking Rams can't even sell out their games because of the typical fair weathered StL fans. The game is blacked out in St Louis because they can't sellout and it should be blacked out in Qcy too. Who wants to watch pansy-assed indoor football?

When they were rocking and rolling with "The greatest show on turf" they were fun to watch...
But now, both teams stink, and both are boring.

Hey, there is always hockey season.

Fire:

Your not getting an answer?

Does anyone know how this works? I would like to know also.

Green Bay gave the bears that last game, so fuck you, you should be 1-4. The whole NFL sucks anyway , tune into NCAA football, you sissies.

Anonymous said...

Bears are not making the playofs, so what the fuck does it matter?

Anonymous said...

That's playoffs, and no, I not Jansen, but you fuckers could pass for 3rd grade spelling teaching nuns.

Bears suck, Rex sucks, Mike Ditka sucks, Brian Picalo sucks, Fire blows. Fire's joint is not any better than Jansens, even though it isn't on ebay.

Move to Chicago, Fire, you freakin cheap-ass, or order NFL Sunday ticket, or sit in the smokey-ass Replay or go to gamblin Barney's with a bunch of nuckle-fuck drunks and watch the game.

Someone has their panties in a bunch today huh?

Must be a Rams fan.

"I anticipate we'll have a number of blackouts (this season),'' team president John Shaw told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Come to Quincy. We'll show them even when they are 0-10 !

Well god damn, I'm sorry the Rams were on so you Bears wimps couldn't wathc your Bears get their assess kicked by the Vikings!

Maybe next week, if you girls piss and moan enough, they'll put the Bears on so you can watch them loose.

Email Dickerson at WGEM and tell him you want to watch the Bears lose instead of the Rams lose.

Everybody is pissed they didn't get to see Peterson set rushing records against the "vaunted Bears Defense". All this from a guy who had a gimp leg last year. What a joke.

and OOOOO.. What an exciting game the Rams played. At 0-5 the game was tied until 1:51 left in the FIRST QTR. After that, the ravens left them in the dust. What an exciting game you got to watch sitting on mom and dads couch eating cheetos.

The bears/vikes game had a rookie running back with 200+ yards, a second string QB who threw for 381 yds - 7 less than Mr Brady, and a game that went down to the final seconds as a TIE game.

Bears was a 3 point game.

Rams was a 19 point game.

I'm not a BEARS or RAMS fan but I sure the hell would have enjoyed watching the bears/vikes vs. the rams/ravens.

It all about ratings. Which game would have been the better for ratings ?

I also think FIRE requires an IQ higher than your shoe size to post comments here.

I you want to argue, at least have a point to discuss.

Hey, dumbass, tell WGEM, maybe they'll give shit, you did all that crap for 9:19, who doesn't.

Are you too dumb to understand this?

St. Louis: 2 hrs away
Chicago : 5 hrs away

5 is further away than 2,just so know! That's what they make the decisions on. Also, 2000 was more recent than 1986! Also, Rams have lost more SB's than Bears.

Check the schedule, you big baby, the Bears will be on if the Rams host an AFC team, if the Chiefs are not playing (that is, unless an NFC team is playing at KC, and if an AFC team is not playing at soldier, or the Rams have a by, or the Rams play at noon and the Bears play at 3, but CBS has the doulbleheader that week, damn the luck..........).

Just think its funny as fuck Chi fans get shut out, and whine like little bitches.

Also, news flash, if you live in IL and are not in Chicago, you don't matter! Chicago viewers are more important than you, they set the ratings, dumbass. they are taken care of first. You're the minority. So be happy with your 2nd class citizen status.

Piss on the Baers and Rams:

Cue "Dragnet" theme:

Jury trial 12/10/2007 09:00 VAHLE 1B

Tookie's OV case, trail of the century (or at least the morning)

I'm sure they'll be studing this case at JWCC law school (pre-law) for years to come.

Sorry, that's "trial" not trail.

I also have a bar for sale for 2.5, no 1.2 milion.

Nielsen Television Ratings are reported by ranking the percentage for each show of all viewers watching television at a given time. As of August 27, 2007, there are an estimated 112.8 million television households in the USA. A single national ratings point represents 1%, or 1,128,000 households for the 2006-07 season. Share is the percentage of television sets in use tuned to a specific program. These numbers are usually reported as (ratings points/share). For example, Nielsen may report a show as receiving a 9.2/15 during its broadcast, meaning 9.2%, or 10,377,600 households on average were tuned in at any given moment. Additionally, 15% of all televisions in use at the time were tuned into this program. Nielsen re-estimates the number of households each August for the upcoming television season.

Nielsen Media Research also provides statistics on estimated total number of viewers, and on specific demographics. Advertising rates are influenced not only by the total number of viewers, but also by particular demographics, such as age, sex, economic class, and area. Younger viewers are considered more attractive for many products, whereas in some cases older and wealthier audiences are desired, or female audiences are desired over males. Television ratings are not an exact science, but they are a powerful force in determining the programming in an industry where millions of dollars are at stake every day.

Yeah 2000 is more recent than 1986 and just look at your empty dome. (indoor football pussies) St Louis fans are never anything more than fair-weather fans. You can't find a rams fan anywhere right now.....other than on here where they don't have to place their identity.

Thanks for the TV ratings explanation and ratings. That helps explain why the 2006 World Series was among the poorest tv rated of all time.

I'm so glad I got to watch the Bears lose last night!

I'm glad no other games interfered with me seeing the Bears get beat again!!! Yay!! Things are working out that way a lot these days! Thank you Dish NW & NFL NW!

I think the Bears are the best LAST PLACE team in the land! I think, above all other last place teams, the Bears losing while in last place should be aired on cable.

Best last place team in the NFL, da Bears!

Although the Bears will not make the playoffs ("playoffs?" in Jim Mora voice), I think they are the best last place team that is not making the playoffs.
