How come the bold editorial staff of the Herald Whig didn't stand up to the owners and write this story?
Maybe known as "Don't bite the hand that feeds you" or signs your paycheck ?
It's censorship. There's an old axiom in journalism attributed to H.L. Menken that goes something like this: freedom of the press is limited to the person that owns one. It means that you control the information your community recieves about itself if you control the press. Something to think about.
Thanks for the post. The people know about the local media, the less they'll be willing to forgive. Call or write or email the FCC today and express your concerns about documented FCC violations and the too cozy familial relationship between print and broadcast that allows each to cover up for the other and suppress the news they don't want you to know.
