11.11.2008

As we celebrate this year’s Veterans Day holiday, we should take the time to say, “thank you,” to a veteran. If you don’t know any veterans, take a quiet moment to appreciate what they have done – and continue to do – for our country.

  1. The Liberty School student body presents a really nice Veteran's Day ceremony each year. It was held yesterday.

  2. QHW send out a paper flag for veterans day on the eve of the day.

  3. A paper flag. Yet another example of The Whig acting like they are doing something, but really doing nothing for this community.

  4. Ummmm, paper flags were all the rage after 9/11/2001.

Of course that was from JK Creative, and this one is from the the HW. That automatically makes the first patriotic and the second "nothing".

And I think the idea is to put it in your window and leave it there a while. You can honor veterans more than just on Veterans Day, you know.

(Don't get me wrong, I think the Whig is screwy loopy but geez, this ain't one of those dumb things they do all the time.)
