The appointment of a local lawyer to the review committee. This looks familiar. How long will it take for a local(ex)lawyer to be appointed to a position. Past history shows the starting point. Just sitting around waiting for the ending
Scheduled? Pretty much? What kind of lawyer speak is that? If this is scheduled so far in advance then this makes it even more in your face. It could have been after work or on weekend. Since someone else is paying you to be at work and you can get away with it, why not? Expect more outings, some even out of town. What a deal! Just the fact that they think it's okay for all of them to be gone at this time shows they really are not needed at their jobs or overpaid since they have time to do this. Isn't it common practice for the person making the hole in one to buy drinks afterward? Speaking of drinks in the afternoon....
Think anyone will have courage to bring it up at City Council mtg tonight?
I will say something to my two aldermen where I live & the two where my businesses are. If they won't do anything about it maybe I should suggest they leave their businesses & go join they festivities.
Quincy population - (tax base) - in the 1970's was pushing 50,000. Quincy population now, barely holding around 40,000. The 40,000 figure would not even be there if not for the city annexing areas in the last 30 years.
A 20% reduction in city population and city officials merit a pay increase???
The population was between 45,000 and 50,000. 50,000 was the next target number they were shooting for.
"Get your facts straight fuckhead" ??????
Don't think it deserved that comment!! What an intelligent thought. You are wrong about the population.
Jeez guy, try showing some tact, intelligence, and respect in what you write, whether you agree or not. Your comments might actually have a speck of value and make some sense. Your shoot from the hip profanity and insults for no reason are quite immature and achieve nothing.
i don't even need a topic that burns my ass.......everything does anymore$$$$$

ReplyDeleteTony defending this outing over at UMR and saying it was "planned".
ReplyDeleteUncle Tony:
How many more of these "outing" are planned for this year that include dept heads? Everyday? Sunny days? Weekly?
