Has anyone ever watched the TV show Weeds? It's got a great thing where their city council is corrupt and there's all kinds of sticky-icky things going on.
It sounds REALLY familiar. But Weeds is fiction and funny.

I want to kick this fuck in the nuts ! Grand theft tax dollars is the game for his xbox that he wants .
I am just thankful the pictures taken on the firetruck of these women have not been released. I know who two of them are and really would not care to see them naked.
According to QH-W article, guess I shouldn't have used the word "stealing", apparently you may get sued over using it! LOL
Interesting, though, that a lot of people are thinking in those terms (including Judge Scheuring)! Can Leahy sue everyone? Maybe he should sue the Judge! LOL

"When will it ever stop?" It won't because these Catholic families are too big to not have another waiting in the wings for that next job. Also, you mention the female firefighter. I beleive she is the sister of one of the women who has been fired in this deal.
Julie Reis, husband is Randy. His twin brother is Rich who will be Julie's supervisor. Randy also is a supervisor at Central Services. What a F--- up mess. Hell Beebe could not supervise his last employee because he is so busy running is business on city time.
I believe the "mayor" had both Reis brothers and the Ray clan driving his campaign truck in the Dogwood last year. Job security? What business does Beebe own and isn't his wife on the city payroll? I hope the people of Quincy think about what they are doing next election. I have heard that there is also a fireman running a SCUBA diving business on city time. I would be willing to bet that these six people, the three fired and the three firemen have no connections like the rest of the city. Is that why they are jumping at this petty offense the way they are. This has gotten more coverage and attention locally than the Meeks trial. I don’t think they stole or killed anybody! Quincy “politics” at its finest.

What about the firefighter running his bug/termite business on city time. He was allowed to bring his termite sniffing dog to work with him for two years because he said the dog needed to be worked with daily. Now how is this not using City Resources while he is supposed to be firefighting. And yes, the Scuba guy got much of his training at the City tax payers expense. Guess this is alright though.
TV stations and HW should do an investigation like other media groups do in other towns. If any of this is true the tax payers should know. Reminds me of the Gov. in Illinois.....

Didn't Rich Reis get into some trouble using a city cell phone racking up hundreds of dollars in wireless minutes while talking to his “girlfriend” on city time? I have figured it out everybody. The difference between "Family" and "Employees" is that when your family and screw up you get moved to another department with some type of raise. When your and employee you get fired making room for more family. Enrollment at QND might go up due to this big investigation. The "Employees" will be looking for an angle to keep their jobs and what better way than to support Spring's foundation.

So, what are the chances that no one has ever tried to sell me a ticket? I live in the historic district and work at a place where people ask for donations nearly on a daily basis. The process of putting incompetant political hacks on the city payroll for life should be brought forward for public view. How do we get rid of a system that allows children, cousins ,wives,brother in laws, sister in laws, and other assorted idiots into your and mine's employ?
Maybe the family newspaper could use some print honoring a hard-working kid from a lower to middle class family who has to work every day after school to pay for his or her clothes they wear to school. The athletes who don't have jobs and the spoiled little rich fucks get all the credit and don't have to work for it.
