    Seems to me that saying "there is no difference between Republicans and Democrats" is actually a pretty stupid statement itself. Run down a list of 10 or 20 policy issues and you'll find lots of differences.

    While there are differences between unelected Republicans and Democrats (conservatives and liberals), once elected both sides will do whatever it takes to scratch each other's backs and share the trough.
