  7. Was anticipating an exciting and better 2008, but so far, medical bills will hit $15,000 so far for the year, my dog was stolen over the weekend, but hey, at least I was able to get a truck this year....wow I think I have a hit on the country charts in the works.

  10. yeah, On The Street pretty much blows.
here's a weird thing that happened last week in the Gem City: a long semi tanker did a U-Turn at 24th and Broadway intersection. Yes, the busiest one in town.
    surreal to witness

  11. Here is something I bet many didn't know. I learned the other day from coworkers that they was an accident involving two Quincy fire trucks. Seems one ran into the other. I wonder if the Mayor will want to file charges like he did for sending emails. Probably not, after all emails were free and the the damage to two firetrucks was well over $60,000.00. Just a little backwards don't you think.

  12. IMAGINE THAT!!!!

I wonder if they will accuse the firetruck drivers of having sex while driving.......OR maybe they were using their CELL PHONES to talk to some woman.....those damn "moral police"!!!!

  13. Gee, no police report on the fire truck accident?

    Not reported in the media?

    Big surprise.

  14. That is interesting. Has there been past occurrences where fire trucks have been wrecked? Did the person get fired? I bet no. I also bet there were people warned for email usage in the past that didn't get fired. So now that the city has turned over a new leaf with discipline can we expect the driver of the accident to be on paid suspension for four months then be fired? What really makes this any different from emails other than the amount of expenses the accident actually caused? I say let him join the other two who got fired. Also what is the guy’s name so he can get equal treatment as we gave to the other three or six or hell I lost count? Names and Info Please!!!!!

  15. I think this is exaggerating a bit. The story I heard is that one rear-ended another at a stop on the way to a fire. I don't think it was anywhere close to $60k. I don't know for sure, as that's like third-hand information, but if fire trucks were bashed up enough to be out of service, I think we'd hear something about it.

Enough defender of the fired QFD !

If what they did was wrong, let the appeal process work.

    If not, let it go.

Shit. Tired of you defending them.

  17. The big problem in all of this is Spring's hypocrisy. I've seen some copies of his son's personnel record making the rounds. This kid had nine lives as a city employee. Once again, it depends who you are. I hope when this all comes out in the wash through the appeals process, it will be Spring's downfall for being a self-righteous dick.

Where might someone get a copy or a look at this "record"?

Look at Josh Spring's address too. QND was putting him up in one of their houses before it was torn down. 920 Jackson

  20. I've come to the conclusion that the people who post on these blogs fall into one of two categories:

    1. Unemployed social misfits who live with their parents, collect
Star Trek figurines, and blame society for their shitty lot in life.

    2. Balding, overweight middle-age guys who fantasize about their 13 year-old next door neighbor, and think the primered '68 Nova they still drive is cool.

Either way, getting on these blogs and railing against all those things you aspire to be, is the closest any of you will come to actually being relevant. Sadly, your little fraternity of bloggers are the only ones with the same pathetic backgrounds to even give a damn.

  21. Sadly enough, its a unique conclusion that only you share with yourself.

actually the purpose of the quincy blogs is to bring people out into the open so that they can be forensically analyzed.

Remember to view the source of the page you are posting to. look for stray url's and small image files that might be used to log activity on another server from this one.

    They're all honeypots IMO.
